Steam Trade URL Guide
A Steam trade URL lets tf2cart create the Steam Trade Offers required to buy or sell Team Fortress 2 keys automatically. This guide explains where to find it, when to update it, and how it keeps trades tied to your Steam account.
Open profileHow to get your Steam trade URL
Open Steam Inventory, choose Trade Offers, open Who can send me Trade Offers, then copy the URL shown under Third-Party Sites. Paste that URL into your tf2cart profile before buying or selling keys.
Why it is needed
The automated Steam bot needs your trade URL to send buy offers for TF2 keys and receive sell offers from your inventory. Without a valid trade URL, automated TF2 key trading cannot complete.
When to update it
Update your trade URL in your profile if Steam regenerates your token or if trade offers fail because the previous URL is no longer valid.
Account safety
tf2cart uses Steam OpenID login and standard Steam Trade Offers. Your Steam password is never shared with tf2cart, and every offer is confirmed through Steam.
